Setelah beberapa hari sebelumnya, Mi4 mendapatkan update untuk versi China. Kali ini pihak developer juga memberikan stable update versi global, meskipun belum termasuk pada list download resmi, nampaknya pihak developer Xiaomi menyadari banyak penggunanya yang berada di luar dari China.
